Captain Judy Cameron 2027 Scholarship Applications
November 1, 2026, Toronto, ON – This will be the eighth year of the Captain Judy Cameron Scholarship for Canadian women pursuing careers as pilots or aircraft maintenance engineers. Past recipients are now first officers, flight instructors and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) across Canada.
“The 2026 scholarship recipients share one important quality: a commitment to encouraging and supporting other women in aviation,” said Judy Cameron, retired Air Canada Boeing 777 Captain and Director of the Northern Lights Aero Foundation. “As I greeted each student on stage at the Northern Lights gala, I was proud not only of their achievements in their own training, but also their dedication to volunteering and mentoring others. These remarkable young women will be role models for the next generation of women in aviation. Thank you to Air Canada for launching the scholarships, to CAE for joining the program, and to Northern Lights Aero Foundation for administering the scholarships and helping make these opportunities possible. I look forward to the day when I am a passenger on a flight operated by a Captain Judy Cameron Scholarship recipient.”
